Lennox juniors in Elite Development Programs
Five LHFC U/12 players have gained selection in the NNSW Newcastle Permanent Centre of Excellence program.
Jackson Boyd, Harry Liebke, Chris Watts, Dane Ingham and Tameka Patch were among sixteen players selected from the Football Far North Coast U/11 and U/12 divisions to participate in the program, which aims to develop talented regional NSW players for possible State and National representation. The Lennox Head contingent now have a great opportunity to press for state selection heading towards the National Championships in Canberra in April 2011.
To have 5 players from the same age group selected in this elite development program is a fantastic and memorable achievement for the club.
LHFC U/13 player Jarvis Foley also recently gained selection in the NNSW Country U/13 team which participated in the recent Veto Under 13 Tournament in Newcastle against teams from Tasmania, ACT, SA, NT, New Zealand and Newcastle / Hunters regions. Jarvis performed strongly with his team finishing a creditable 4th from eight.
LHFC would like to congratulate these players on their achievement and wish them every success for the upcoming representative season.
