This year the club will be holding a presentation afternoon for our non-competitive teams (Under 6’s – Under 9’s) on Monday 8th September at 4:30pm.

Under 10’s to Under 16’s will be given a presentation package to enable them to arrange their own presentation times

Team photos needed urgently!

In preparation for the presentations this year, we require team photos for Under 6’s through to Under 16’s. With so many digital cameras around now days we are requesting that each team arrange their own photo. Please arrange to take a photo of your team either at this weekend’s game or take shirts to training.

A high quality digital photo needs to be emailed through to Lisa Newton at
    by Sunday 24th August.

Please include the names of the children in your email. If you can not arrange a digital photo of the team, please contact Lisa via the above email for assistance.

Ballina Seagulls Rugby League Club is hosting the "2008 Relay for Life" at Kingsford Smith Park on Saturday 1st November and Sunday 2nd November.  Seagulls challenge all other codes in a competition to raise the most money towards this years relay with a very enticing prize of a keg of your choice, plus 6 bottles of wine and 3 cold food platters to be presented to the winning teams tent prior to the start of the event.  If you are interested in meeting this challenge, ring Ballina Seagulls on 66868100 or 0401 597798 to register you team. Bank of Queensland to assist LHFC with fundraising

Bank of Queensland in Ballina have offered to assist Lennox Head Football Club raise funds for the additions to our club house by donating $250 for every new completed home loan that club members take out with the Bank.  So if you are in the market for a home loan, pop into the Bank of Queensland's Ballina branch, mention that you are a LHFC member and see what they have to offer.

Sharks & IGA Lennox

The Sharks are now a part of the Lennox IGA community benefits program. When you spend $30 or more you will receive a token. Place this token in the "Lennox Head Soccer Club" box on your left hand side as you exit the store. The club will then receive cash back from IGA to go into our 2nd storey building fund. If you are able to support this initiative it will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Unfortunately you missed your opportunity to have a say at the monthly meeting with regards to the LHFC Junior Presentation Day, and plans have been made for this year's presentation.  However, we would still like to know what LHFC members think on this matter to assist with planning for the 2009 season.  So have a vote on our poll questions listed below and select one of the options.
