The club house will be open on Sunday 18th from 10-12 for gear and equipment to be returned. Can all coaches/parents please make sure that all shirts and training bibs are thoroughly washed and cleaned prior to being returned.

It is important the gear is returned so we can start to plan for next season. If you can’t make the times specified above, please ask another parent of the team whom is able to make it. Your cooperation is very much appreciated.

If you also have a key to the gate/equipment shed can you also please return it along with the gear.

In recognition for all our coaches, sponsors and volunteers, we are holding a ‘Thank You’ day on Saturday 20th August 2011 at our Skennars Head fields. The day starts at 1pm when the men’s second division team takes on Goonellabah. This is followed by the men’s first division game which sees them lock horns with local rivals Ballina at 3pm.

It would be fantastic to see as many of our supporters as possible there on the day to help cheer on the team and make the atmosphere electric. Everyone is welcome, more the merrier.

Attention all coaches and Parents

Please note that the 15th August deadline to have team photo’s to Lisa Newton (lisa_newton@bigpond.com) is fast approaching. Can we ask that all teams who have not yet submitted their photo’s do so as soon as possible. The photo’s need to be of good JPEG quality (i.e. over 1mb) and mobile phone pictures are not suitable. You also need to make sure you include the team name along with a list of all the players in the order that they appear (left to right, back row then front row).

Dear Coaches,

We have recently received a complaint from a parent from another club regarding some players refusing to shake her daughters hand after a match.  This is a bad reflection on our club and I ask that all coaches try and ensure that all players shake hands with the opposition after each match, win, lose or draw, male or female.

All raffle tickets must be returned to the canteen by midday Saturday 30th July to be included in the prize draw. Tickets will be available on the night for those who have missed out or are wanting to buy more.

Prizes include products and gift vouchers from local businesses as well as club merchandise. There will be a blind auction for a 1 hour tattoo at Rock of Ages tattoos (bids can be made with Mel 0431 187 320 prior to Saturday night).

OUR MAJOR FUNDRAISER THIS YEAR WILL BE THE SPICKS AND SPECS NIGHT ON 30^TH JULY.

IN CONJUNCTION WITH THIS WE ARE RUNNING A RAFFLE TO BE DRAWN ON THIS NIGHT. TICKETS ARE $1 EACH OR 3 FOR $2.

1^ST, 2^ND, 3^RD AND 4^TH PRIZES WILL BE DRAWN.
